KEY OFFICERS of the Campaign for Labour Party Democracy have threatened to split the campaign policies they disagree opposition to the reister.

The campaign, which ioneered the struggle fo reselection f MP and paved the way for the Deputy Leadership campaign, is having what may well be the most importan Annual General Meting in its history on Saturday IT IS GOOD to see that if it passes including 29 January, at which left and right have lined up around the ICUSLCESSUC and around whether or not CLPD should urge CLPs to defy the NEC by refusing expel their members.

The officers threatento resign include Vadimir Derer, LCIIL founder Peter Willsman and Victor Schontield, whose attacks on the left have desended to pure muckiakig Schonfield names twelve CLPD members who voted against the reister in July and claims that their past services to CLPD do not amount to much, and the fact that these comrades used their Peter Hain recognisable community and also prevent local barses holding their MPs or councillors accountable.

These and other cicuueus against 'R are explained in we believe is the fullest socialist critique of PR in a pamphlet by Geoff Hodgson and myself: Proportional Misrepresentation?
